I hope everyone has a happy and jolly holiday, whichever one you may celebrate. Merry Merry!

Friday night we attended this year's Paul & Kristin: Home For The Holidays show, which was their 3rd and final year doing it. There wasn't a show last year because Paul was in Spain, but any long-time readers may remember the show from 2005, which I then dubbed The Greatest Show on Earth. I still stand by that, although this year's show was just as good. Except colder. I didn't know it was possible, but it was COLD, y'all. I believe it was in the low 20's that night, as you can see:
I don't know why Tommy looks so warm back there, but he wasn't. As usual, Paul and Kristin pulled in a good crowd of crazy people who enjoy sitting around in freezing cold weather watching two of their friends perform choreographed dance routines while singing along to ten of your favorite holiday songs:
So, so cold! (There were even more people who didn't make it into the picture, too.)
Still, even with the freezing cold (and the fact that we had to sit in it for 20 extra minutes while they waited for more "fans" to arrive), the show was completely worth every penny spent on my canned good that was the price of admission (Paul and Kristin bring the food to a local food shelter). When Paul and Kristin dramatically took the "stage" for their introduction, it was on and popping:
After the first five songs, there was an intermission where we enjoyed the magic of some very welcome HOT chocolate and delicious cookies. Then it was time for the second act, and the costume change that made Paul look completely ridiculous yet awesome:
Air drums during Little Drummer Boy.
Sadly, my camera's batteries were dying, so I only took 3 video clips and they all came out too dark, so I can't share any video of the show right now. It really is a sight to behold. There are rumors that it will surface on YouTube one of these days, so I will share those clips when that happens. For now, you'll just have to enjoy their Christmas in Sarajevo dance from 2005. It is still the best part of the show.
Happy Holidays!

Dear Boston:
Suck it.
My brother got me a GPS, sucka. Never again will I be lost for hours on your one way streets, cursing the Financial District.
Love and Kisses,
Pam
Hahaha! That reminds me of the Tom Bianchi song "Street Signs in Boston Suck" or something like that. You should check it out. He's on my myspaz.
